Our School Garden project focuses on the use of modern educational practices, integrating multiple disciplines into a sustainable experience. At its core lies an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary method designed not only to educate, but also to inspire our students towards healthy lifestyle habits, encouraging the development of an ecological awareness.
Because it provides tangible experiences that go beyond textbooks. Through hands-on activities in our garden, students interact with their surroundings while cultivating essential work habits such as responsibility, patience, and teamwork.
Our approach leverages experiential learning along with cooperative teaching methods. This means that every seed planted is not only potential for new life, but also for new knowledge. Students learn by doing; They grow alongside their plants while absorbing valuable lessons in various subjects, from natural sciences to ethics.
The 'Ecotilde' School Garden project is presented as an educational initiative that integrates sustainability and respect for the environment into the daily learning of students. Through six fundamental objectives, 'Ecotilde' seeks to:
The school garden is a melting pot where various disciplines merge, allowing students to explore multidisciplinarity and multiple intelligences. Here, science meets creativity, and respect for nature meets social responsibility. It's a place where self-improvement and social competence are grown at the same time as plants.
In addition to being a natural laboratory for scientific experimentation, the school garden is fertile ground for emotional development. Students learn to work as a team, to take care of the environment and to value the fruit of their own efforts. Autonomy and empathy germinate in this green space, providing valuable lessons for life, as well as sustainability, developing in them a natural or ecological awareness.
