We are aware of the challenge that we have, religious and laity, each and every one of us who feel that we belong to the TELLISTA FAMILY. That is why we understand life itself as a project that involves knowing that our decisions not only affect ourselves, but that they are based on an invitation that is God's call.
Therefore, our Purpose is to respond to this invitation to follow Jesus as the Way, the Truth and the Life.
We work for this, in SHARED MISSION, feeling responsible for each other and for the evangelizing mission entrusted.
Our COMMITMENT is to put all our abilities and opportunities to improve the reality that surrounds us, thus responding to God's call to bring the Gospel in the style of Mother Matilde. The Colegio Concertado SAN JOSÉ presents its Educational Pastoral Project to all families who want this type of education for their sons and daughters in an attitude of positive collaboration.
The daughters of Mary Mother of the Church and the laity who work with them in SHARED MISSION, together with all those people who are related, in one way or another, to the works of the HMMI make up the TELLISTA FAMILY.
In the journey of 150 years that the HMMI has made Mother Matilda's dream come true, our experience of the Eucharist has led us to respond with love, both in accompaniment and in prayer, to the presence of Christ in the Eucharist; and to share our lives and gifts with our brothers and sisters.
Integral Christian education, the reception of marginalized children, care for the sick, elderly, poor and social promotion of children, young people and adults, parish and rural pastoral care and reception in houses of spirituality.
It is a youth movement of growth in faith, which gathers around Jesus, to share Christian values in the style of Blessed Mother Matilda, participating in different solidarity projects and moments of prayer. It is a voluntary option for all students from 5th grade to 4th grade of secondary school, as well as former students who want to continue being part of the Tellista family.
The Tellista groups foster the interiority of the children as well as of the monitors, giving everyone the opportunity to deepen their faith and the charismatic mission of Blessed Mother Matilde. It seeks that both students and monitors can find God in the little things, and in all the moments of their lives.
To this end, we hold fortnightly meetings as well as weekend gatherings, with the aim of LIVING IN FRATERNITY, JOY AND SIMPLICITY, in the style of Mother Matilde, in order to SPREAD THE MESSAGE OF JESUS.
Forward, always forward! Join.
Solidarity is one of the values proposed by the Tellista mission and, for this reason, we have been promoting solidarity actions for years with the HMMI sister school of the Hogar María Inmaculada in Tucupido, Venezuela. The purpose of this mission in Tucupido is the education of the large population of children who live in this town, one of the most disadvantaged areas of the country.
Our Colegio Concertado San José supports this school and the feeding of many of these children. To them we will send the economic contribution that we managed to gather from the TELLISTA PROJECTS, which is used to supply basic supplies to the students.
With our participation, we will all stand in solidarity as best we can with these children and their families.
